Bavarian Beef Plate
|Canned sauerkraut||1 Pound, well drained and chopped (1 Can)|
|Thousand island dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Bottled Type)|
|Pumpernickel slices||8 Large, buttered|
|Muenster cheese slices||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Canned corned beef||12 Ounce, cut into 8 slices (1 Can)|
|Dill pickles||2 Tablespoon, sliced|
|Spiced crab apples||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1 Mix sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing in a small bowl.
2 Place 1 slice of bread on each of 4 serving plates; top each with cheese, then corned beef.
3 Spoon sauerkraut mixture over corned beef; cover with remaining slices of bread. Hold in place with wooden picks topped with pickle slices. Cut each sandwich in half. Garnish plates with spiced crab apples.
