|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Pint|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries, reserving 4 perfect berries for garnish.
Place berries in a bowl and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar; refrigerate.
When ready to serve, whip the cream and sweeten with additional sugar, if desired.
Divide berries equally into meringue nests, top with cream, and garnish.
