One Step German Chocolate Cake
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Coconut almond frosting mix/Pecan frosting mix||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|German chocolate cake mix||17 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Melt 1/4 cup butter in each of two 1 1/2 -quart (8-inch round) baking dishes.
Stir 1/3 cup milk and half of frosting mix (1 cup) into each.
Prepare and beat cake mix with eggs and water as directed on package.
Remove 1 cup of batter for cupcakes.
Pour half of remaining batter into each prepared pan.
Cook one layer at a time, uncovered, 6 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes.
Loosen edges and invert to cool.
If some of frosting sticks in pan, just remove with spatula and spread on cake.
When cool enough to handle, stack layers.
