German Chocolate Cake
|Hot water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|German sweet chocolate||4 Ounce (1 Bar)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Unsifted all purpose flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Buttermilk/Sour milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In mixer bowl, combine hot water and chocolate.
Cook, uncovered, 1 minute; stir until blended.
Add butter and let mixture stand a few minutes to cool chocolate and soften butter.
Add sugar and beat with mixer until light.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Pour the batter into a prepared cake dish
Bake until an inserted knife comes out clean.
