German Style Cottontail
|Cottontails||2 , cut up|
|Bacon grease||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Celery||3 Tablespoon, diced|
|Onion||3 Tablespoon, diced|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Wine vinegar||3 Tablespoon|
Coat rabbits with a small amount of flour.
Fry pieces in skillet in hot bacon grease until well browned.
Remove meat to casserole.
Add 1 Tbsp.flour and 1/4 cup water to drippings in skillet.
Heat to thicken.
Pour over rabbit in casserole.
Add remaining ingredients to casserole, cover and bake 375°F.50 minutes.
