German Raw Apple Cake
|Cooking oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Diced apple||4 Cup (64 tbs) (Diced, Raw)|
|Pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||32 Ounce (2 Large Packages, 16 Ounce Each)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon|
|Powdered sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Cake: Crack eggs into a large mixing bowl.
Add cooking oil.
Beat until frothy.
Add sugar and vanilla.
Sift together and add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add apples and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan (or spray with nonstick oil).
Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until center is done.
Icing: Mix cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar.
Spread icing while cake is still warm.
