German Goulash

Ingredients
  Lean ground beef 3 Ounce
  Onion 1 Teaspoon, chopped
  Green pepper 1 Teaspoon, chopped
  Celery 1 Teaspoon, chopped
  Bay leaf 1⁄4 , crushed
  Kidney beans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cooked
  Elbow macaroni 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cooked
  Carrot 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), sliced
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Brown ground beef, onion, green pepper, and celery over low heat; drain.
Add crushed bay leaf, kidney beans, macaroni, and carrots; mix gently.
Add salt and pepper.
Pour into casserole dish; cover.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.

I AM GERMAN ,,, BORN IN GERMANY ... THIS IS NOT GERMAN GOULASH ,,,,, GOULASH IS NOT MADE WITH GROUND BEEF ..EVER ,,,,, NOR BEANS WHAT THE HECK ...IT IS MADE WITH BEEF CHUNKS ,,,

Hey there! Seems like this is a variation of goulash that is made with minced meat! :-)

Seems like this is not the goulash I grew with in Germany. Germans prepare their goulash with equal portions of cubed lean beef, pork, onions, tomatoes, and red and green peppers. Add some paprika, broth, maybe some red wine, but never ever kidney beans, elbow macaroni or ground meat.
