Bavarian Bratwurst Casserole

This Bavarian Bratwurst Casserole is simply delicious ! Sausages wined with apples and vegetables makes a satiating meal. Try this Bavarian Bratwurst Casserole and let me know if you like it.
  Fresh bratwurst 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Red cabbage head 2 Pound, thinly sliced (1 Small)
  Potatoes 2 Medium, pared and diced
  Apples 2 Small, cored and diced
  Caraway seed 1 Tablespoon
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Red wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon

1. Remove bratwurst from casing and crumble into a 3-quart glass casserole. Add onion; stir. Cover with an all-glass lid or plastic wrap. Cook in microwave oven 4 to 5 minutes at High, or until pink has disappeared from bratwurst; stir once. Drain.
2. Stir red cabbage, potato, apple, caraway seed, brown sugar, vinegar and salt into bratwurst mixture. Cook covered in microwave oven 18 to 20 minutes at High; stir 3 times.
