|White wine vinegar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cut cabbage into thin strips, then set aside.
Chop the onions finely and the bacon in bite-sized pieces, then saute both on low heat until onions are golden brown.
The bacon should be quite crisp.
Pour the vinegar, sugar, and salt into a pan; insert vegetable steamer, layer it with the cabbage, onions, and bacon, and steam vegetables 10 minutes, or until cabbage is soft.
Mix everything together in a salad bowl.
