Hearty German Supper
|Applesauce||1 Can (10 oz) (May Use 1 Jar)|
|Sauerkraut||1 Can (10 oz), drained and chopped|
|Dry white wine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|White potatoes||1 Can (10 oz), drained (Small Size)|
|Whole onions||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
|Polish sausage||1 , slashed 6 times (1 Ring)|
Mix together applesauce, sauerkraut, wine, and brown sugar in 2 quart baking dish; mix well.
Cover, cook in oven 5 minutes; stir after 2 1/2 minutes.
Mix well; arrange potatoes and onions around outside edge of dish.
Place sausage in center, cover, cook 8 to 10 minutes.
Turn dish twice, one quarter turn, during this period.
Remove from oven; let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Sprinkle snipped parsley over top.
