|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Lean ground beef||1⁄2 Pound (250 Gram)|
|Chopped parsley||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Grated gruyere cheese||50 Milliliter (0.25 Cup)|
|Mushroom caps||16 Large, blanched 3 minutes|
|Seasoned breadcrumbs||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
Heat butter in frying pan.
Saute onion 2 to 3 minutes over medium-low heat.
Add beef and parsley; season to taste.
Continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes.
Mix in cheese and cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stuff mushroom caps.
Thread mushroom caps on skewers with stuffing side up.
Place on ovenproof platter and sprinkle breadcrumbs over stuffing.
Broil 3 to 4 minutes in oven 6 in (15 cm) from top element.
Do not turn skewers over!
