Whitefish With Garlic Butter
|Dressed white fish/Red snapper (with head and tail)||2 Pound (Use either fresh or frozen, cod or pike)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Garlic||6 Clove (30 gm)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Thaw fish, if frozen.
Remove head and tail, if desired.
Rub the clove of minced garlic on inside cavity of fish.
Lightly grease cooking grill.
Place fish in center of the cooking grill.
Grill 30 minutes or till fish flakes when tested with a fork.
Meanwhile, for garlic butter, in a small saucepan saute halved cloves of garlic and green onions in butter over low heat 12 to 15 minutes or till tender and golden brown.
Arrange fish on a serving platter.
Spoon garlic butter over top.
Serve with lemon wedges.
