Whole Baked Garlic

Ingredients
  Whole garlic heads 6
  Olive oil/Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Water/Light chicken stock 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.

MAKING
2 Remove the outer skin from the whole head of garlic.
3 Starting from the root, peel it off or using a knife cut around the covering midway up the head, and peel the outer skin.
4 The skin around each clove will stay intact during baking.
5 In a small baking dish, place the cloves.
6 Drizzle with some oil or butter and sprinkle on salt and pepper.
7 In the bottom of the dish, put a few tablespoons of water or stock to surround the garlic heads.
8 Cover and bake for 1 to 2 hours, depending on size, until tender.

SERVING
9 Serve one head per person.
