Hot Garlic Herb Butter
|Unsalted butter||4 Tablespoon (1/2 Stick)|
|Small garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Chopped fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Thyme leaves/1/2 teaspoon dried||1 Teaspoon|
|Shredded fresh basil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), loosely packed|
|Grated lemon zest||1 Teaspoon|
|Red pepper flakes||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
In the bowl of a food processor, combine the butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, basil, lemon zest, and pepper flakes.
Blend in several short, quick pulses until the mixture is smooth.
Taste for seasoning, adding salt and pepper as desired.
