Maggi's Mad Hare

Ingredients
  Young rabbits 2 , cut into serving pieces
  French dressing 4 Tablespoon
  Flour 6 Tablespoon
  Cooking oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Yellow onion 1⁄2 Large
  Celery stalks 2
  Heavy cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Wash rabbit and pat dry.
Marinate pieces of meat, allowing 1/2 cup marinade for every pound of rabbit, for at least 24 hours.
Drain.
Dredge rabbit with flour.
Season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in skillet with bruised garlic clove.
Remove garlic.
Brown rabbit pieces on all sides.
Place browned pieces in large casserole.
Add water, onion, and .celery.
Cover tightly and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 1 hour, or until tender.
Remove vegetables.
Stir in heavy cream.
Reheat slightly but do not boil.
