Broiled Tomatoes With Garlic Butter
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), mashed in a garlic press|
|Chopped parsley||1 Teaspoon|
|Unsalted butter||1 Teaspoon (At Room Temperature)|
|Freshly ground white pepper||To Taste|
|Vegetable seasoning||To Taste|
|Ripe tomatoes||2 , stemmed and cut in half|
Preheat the broiler.
Mix the garlic, parsley, butter, and seasonings into a paste and spread over the cut sides of the tomatoes.
Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
