Garlic Chive Vinegar
|Cider vinegar||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Garlic cloves||2 Small, peeled|
|Garlic chives||4 (Fresh)|
In a stainless steel or enameled saucepan bring the vinegar to a simmer, pour it into a sterilized quart bottle or jar and add the chives and garlic.
Store the vinegar in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks before serving.
Before presenting as a gift, strain and add your favorite fresh herbs to the bottle.
