Beef Olive Loaf
|Lean ground beef||2 Pound|
|Lean ground pork||1 Pound|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Green pepper||1 , seeded and chopped|
|Green olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. In a large bowl, combine beef, pork, cloves garlic, onion, green pepper, green olives, bread crumbs, eggs, thyme, salt, ground pepper and stir well with a wooden spoon. Form into a loaf.
2. In a baking pan, place loaf on foil.
3. Arrange the bacon slices on top of the loaf
4. Serve with a sauce of your choice
