Mushroom Raisin Meat Loaf
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lean ground beef||3⁄4 Pound|
|Bulk sausage||1⁄4 Pound|
|Non fat dry milk||1 Tablespoon|
|Mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound, coarsely chopped|
|Bacon strip||2 , cut in half|
Mix together crumbs, ground beef, sausage, egg, dry milk, raisins, mushrooms, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
Press lightly into a 1-quart baking dish, tureen, or loaf pan.
Lay bacon strips lengthwise on loaf and drizzle with catsup.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink inside when slashed.
