|Maple sugar||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Cream/Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Broken nut meats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1.Start by breaking the maple sugar into small pieces
2.In a saucepan, heat the small pieces of maple sugar with water.
3.When it is dissolved, add the milk.
4.Boil to the soft-ball stage (238Â° F.).
5.Remove from the heat and cool.
6.When it is lukewarm, beat until it creams and add the nut-meats.
7.Spread it in a buttered pan and when it hardens mark it into squares.
8.Serve with ice cream
