Baked Fudge Dessert

The baked fudge dessert is a chocolaty and nutty dessert made with cocoa and chopped nuts. Baked in a casserole with a mix of vanilla and cocoa with cake flour, the baked fudge dessert is prepared simply delicious.
  Cake flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cocoa 3 Tablespoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon, melted
  Cocoa 4 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Hot water 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Orange rind 1 Teaspoon, grated

Sift the first five ingredients together.
Add the nuts.
Make a well in the centre, and add milk, vanilla and melted shortening.
Stir lightly and pour batter into an oiled 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Measure cocoa, brown sugar, hot water and orange rind into a bowl and beat well.
Pour over batter.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350F.
As this dessert bakes, the batter rises through the rich chocolate sauce.
Serve it hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
