|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chocolate chips||6 Ounce|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Heat shortening and chocolate chips in ,top of double boiler until melted.
Remove from heat, stir, and let cool.
Add vanilla, sugar, and eggs, mixing well.
Stir in flour, salt, and walnuts.
Spread into 8 inch-square pan.
Bake in 325Â°F toaster oven 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut into bars (or squares) while still warm.
