Quick Chocolate Fudge
|Corn oil/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Unsweetened chocolate||3 Ounce|
|Confectioner' s sugar||1 Pound|
|Instant nonfat dry milk powder||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Dark corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt margarine and chocolate in top of 2-quart dou- ble boiler over boiling water.
Sift confectioners' sugar and dry milk powder together; set aside.
Stir corn syrup, 1 tablespoon water and vanilla into choc- olate mixture.
Blend in sifted dry ingredients in 2 additions, stirring until mixture is blended and smooth.
Remove from boiling water.
Mix in nuts.
Turn into greased 8-inch square pan.
Cut into squares.
Omit chocolate and water; use light corn syrup and increase vanilla to 2 teaspoons for bland fudge.
