Chocolate Fudge Icing
|Icing sugar||5 Ounce|
|Cocoa powder||1 Ounce|
|Butter||2 Ounce (thinly sliced)|
|Vanilla essence||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1 Into a bowl, sift the icing (confectioners') sugar and cocoa
2 In a pan, put the remaining ingredients and gently heat until the butter has melted, stirring constantly.
3 Immediately pour into the sugar mixture, beating with a wooden spoon until smooth.
4 Add in a few drops of water to dilute if the mixture is too thick.
5 The icing is ready to use at this stage, however, if you want it frozen then pour the mixture into a rigid container and cool quickly.
6 Seal the container, label and freeze.
7 Use as desired.
7 If frozen, thaw in the container at room temperature for 2 hours.
