Sherry Fudge

Ingredients
  Semisweet chocolate pieces 6 Ounce
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg yolk 1
  Powdered sugar 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), sifted
  Nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon (opt) (Optional)
Directions

Melt chocolate and butter in sherry over hot, not boiling water.
Add egg yolk to sifted sugar.
Add chocolate mixture to sugar mixture; stir thoroughly.
Add additional sherry, if necessary.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Spread in 8 x 8-inch buttered pan; refriger- ate.
