Date Pecan Fudge

Ingredients
  Butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (No Substitutes)
  Sugar 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Evaporated milk 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Chopped dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  White candy coating 12 Ounce, coarsely chopped
  Miniature marshmallows 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Chopped pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In a large heavy saucepan, combine the butter, sugar and milk.
Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 4 minutes.
Add dates; boil and stir for 1 minute.
Remove from the heat; stir in candy coating and marshmallows until melted.
Beat until smooth.
Add pecans and vanilla; beat with a wooden spoon until glossy.
Pour into a buttered 1 3-in x 9-in x 2-in pan.
Let stand at room temperature overnight.
Cut into squares.
