Mamie Eisenhower's Million Dollar Fudge
|Semi-sweet chocolate pieces||12 Ounce (1 Package Or 2 Cups)|
|Sweet cooking chocolate||12 Ounce (3 Packages, 4 Ounce Each)|
|Jar marshmallow creme||8 Ounce (1 Jar)|
|Nut meats||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||14 Ounce (1 Tall Can)|
Combine semi-sweet chocolate pieces, sweet cooking chocolate, marshmallow creme and nut meats in large bowl.
Combine sugar, salt, butter or margarine and evaporated milk in large, heavy saucepan.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil 6 minutes.
This will stick on pan if you do not stir.
Pour at once over chocolate mixture in bowl.
Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and mixture is creamy.
Pour into buttered shallow pan, approximately 15" x 12" x 2".
Let stand a few hours to set, cut into squares, store in tightly covered metal boxes.
