Easy Opera Fudge
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Regular vanilla pudding mix||6 1⁄2 Ounce (2 Packages, 3 Or 3 1/4 Ounce Each)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted powdered sugar||16 Ounce (1 Package, About 4 3/4 Cups)|
|Nuts/Candied cherries||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped|
In 2-quart glass bowl micro-melt the butter about 1 minute.
Stir in dry mix and milk.
Micro-cook, uncovered, till boiling, about 3 minutes; stir occasionally.
Cook 1 minute more, stirring every 15 seconds.
Beat in sugar; stir in nuts or cherries.
Pour into buttered 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top with nut halves, if desired.
Chill; cut in 1-inch squares.
Store in refrigerator.
