Easy No Beat Fudge
|Sugar||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Semisweet chocolate pieces||18 Ounce (3 Packages)|
|Miniature marshmallows||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), candied|
1 Combine the, sugar, evaporated milk and butter or margarine in a medium-size, heavy saucepan, then bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; cook for 6 minutes, or until candy thermometer reaches 227°.
2. Remove from heat; add chocolate pieces and marshmallows; stir until chocolate and marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth; quickly stir in walnuts and cherries.
3. Spoon into buttered, 8x8x2-inch pan; let stand until set; cut into squares. You may press this fudge into tiny tart pans, then decorate with nuts.
