Cocoa Peanut Butter Fudge

  Sugar 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Cocoa 5 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Pound, frozen
  Peanut butter 4 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Combine the sugar, cocoa, and salt in a heavy 4-quart saucepan.
Stir in the milk.
Place over medium-high heat; cook, stirring slowly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
Turn heat to medium, stirring occasionally (slowly), to 236° to 238°, or until a small amount dropped into cold water forms a soft but slightly firm ball.
Remove from the heat and add the frozen butter and peanut butter.
Stir slowly until the butter is almost melted, then add the vanilla.
Beat immediately, using an electric mixer set at medium speed, until the mixture is thickened and begins to adhere to the sides of the pan
Pour into a buttered 9-inch layer cake pan.
Let stand until completely cool, then cut into squares.
