Traditional Christmas Fudge
|Evaporated milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), undiluted|
|Granulated sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Miniature marshmallows||4 Ounce (2 Cup)|
|Semi sweet chocolate morsels||9 Ounce (1.5 Cup)|
|Chopped pecans/Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
COMBINE butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt in medium, heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
STIR in marshmallows, morsels, nuts and vanilla.
Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.
Pour into foil-lined 8-inch square baking pan.
Sprinkle with additional pecans if desired.
Chill until firm.
