Chocolate Fudge Frosting

  Sugar 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 3 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate 4 Ounce (4 squares Baker's)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon

Place the sugar, corn syrup, milk, and chocolate in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking until mixture forms a very soft ball in cold water (or to temperature of 232° F.).
Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat, add butter without stirring, and cool until the bottom of the saucepan feels lukewarm (about 1 hour).
Then add vanilla and beat until frosting is creamy and barely holds its shape.
Spread quickly on cake before frosting hardens.
