Crispy Orange Squares
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Orange rind||1 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Blend together first four ingredients until crumbly.
Press into 9 inch cake pan and bake 10 minutes at 350Â°F.
Beat eggs and blend in dry ingredients.
Stir in coconut and pour over baked layer.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350Â°F.
Cool, ice and cut into squares.
