New Christmas Fruit Mince

The christmas fruit mince is a preparation of dried fruits cooked along with brandy and sugar. Flavored with orange rind and mixed spices, the christmas fruit mince is sweetened with brown sugar and can be sealed and stored in the fridge.
Ingredients
  Sultanas 250 Gram, chopped
  Raisins 250 Gram, chopped
  Currants 250 Gram
  Cherries 125 Gram, quartered (Red And Green Ones)
  Figs 125 Gram, chopped
  Apples 2 , grated
  Grated orange rind 2 Tablespoon
  Suet 100 Gram
  Mixed spice 1 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornflour 1 Tablespoon
  Brandy 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Combine the fruits, apple, rind, suet, mixed spice and brown sugar thoroughly.
Heat for 3 minutes on HIGH.
Stir well.

Combine the cornflour and brandy; add to hot fruit mixture.
Cook 5 minutes on MEDIUM, stirring twice during cooking.

Spoon into hot sterilised jars.
Seal and label.
