Walnut Orange Ring
Make basic loaf, using 1/2 cup each milk and orange juice in place of 1 cup milk and substituting 1 teaspoon grated orange peel for the vanilla.
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch springform pan with tube.
If desired, sprinkle with additional chopped walnuts.
Bake as directed for basic loaf.
While slightly warm, glaze ring.
To make glaze, in small bowl, combine 1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon grated orange peel and 2 teaspoons orange juice, stirring until smooth.
