Fruit Sandesh

Fruit sandesh is an indian dessert prepared with milk, sugar, cottage cheese and sweet fruits. Combined together and blended to a smooth paste, the sandesh mix is frozen before serving. The orange sauce can be served with the fruit sandesh.This is a special low sugar recipe great for diabetics as well as for people on low carb diet. Adapted from the Lantus book of recipes.
  Low fat paneer 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Cottage Cheese)
  Low fat milk powder 2 Teaspoon
  Low fat milk 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped fruits 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Oranges Strawberries)
  Orange juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornflour 1⁄3 Teaspoon
  Sugar substitute 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 2 Drop

For the sandesh Combine all the ingredients and blend to a smooth paste in a blender.
Spread the sandesh evenly in a 100 mm (4") diameter serving dish and chill for at least 30 minutes.
For the orange sauce.
Combine all the ingredients except the sugar substitute in a non stick pan and mix well.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes till the sauce thickens.
Cool completely.
Add the sugar substitute and mix well.
Keep aside.
How to proceed Garnish sandesh with chopped fruits.
Cut the sandesh into squares and serve with orange sauce.
