Roast Turkey With Orange Herb Stuffing Microwave Method
|Turkey||6 Kilogram (One # 60 Turkey)|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Sage and onion stuffing mix||200 Gram (1 Packet)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Orange rind||1 Teaspoon|
|Orange||2 , juiced|
|Orange brandy||2 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
Place butter, onion and garlic in a microwave-proof bowl.
Cook for 2 minutes on HIGH.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Fill cavity of turkey with prepared seasoning.
Brush turkey with oil.
Place turkey on a roasting rack breast-side down.
Cook for 15-18 minutes per 500g on MEDIUM.
Turn over halfway through cooking.
Note: Shield wings and legs with foil halfway through cooking to prevent overcooking.
