Summer Fruit Bounty

Summer Fruit Bounty is a summer treat and kids love this like anything. This is one of the recipes I am known for and is pretty easy to prepare too. However, make sure that the fruits you use for the Summer Fruit Bounty are fresh.
Ingredients
  Honeydew melon 1
  Fresh fruit juice/Pineapple juice 2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Pear 1 Medium, diced
  Sliced peaches 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Banana 1 , sliced
  Sliced strawberries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Orange sherbet 1⁄2 Pint
  Fresh mint sprigs 1
Directions

Cut honeydew melon in half.
Remove seed; scoop out meat.
Cut into cubes.
Scallop edges of shell.
Turn melon halves upside down to drain; store in refrigerator.
Com bine fresh fruit or pineapple juice and sugar.
Peel and slice pear, peaches and banana directly into sugar mixture.
Add melon cubes and strawberries; toss well.
Cover; store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Fill melon halves with fruit; top with tiny balls of orange sherbet and a sprig of mint.
