Fruit Filled Whole Wheat Ring
|Cake/1 tablespoon dried yeast||1|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs), scalded, cooled to lukewarm|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cardamom seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Whole wheat flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
Soften yeast in milk.
Blend honey, oil, salt, seeds and eggs.
Combine with yeast mixture and stir in flour.
Turn into oiled bowl.
Set in warm place to rise for 2 hours.
Roll out into oblong shape 1/4 inch thick.
Brush with oil.
