Spiced Fruit And Honey Treat
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried figs||2 Large, finely chopped|
|Shelled almonds||1⁄2 Ounce, toasted and finely ground|
|Apple pie spice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
In small bowl combine raisins, figs, and apple pie spice; roll into 10 small balls, each about 1 inch in diameter.
In metal measuring cup combine honey and lemon juice; place over low heat and stir constantly until honey melts.
Remove from heat and immediately roll each fruit ball in honey-lemon mixture, then in ground almonds to coat.
Arrange on plate, cover, and refrigerate until chilled.
