Holiday Orange Mold

Ingredients
  Mandarin oranges 77 Ounce (7 cans, 11 ounce each)
  Ginger ale 20 Ounce (1 bottle)
  Orange gelatin 3 Ounce (1 package)
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped
  Bananas 2 Medium, sliced
  Shredded coconut 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Drain oranges.
Pour 1 bottle ginger ale into sauce- pan; bring to a boil.
Add gelatin; stir until dissolved: Add remaining ginger ale, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt, blending well.
Refrigerate until partially set.
Fold in whipped cream, bananas and oranges; place in 1-quart mold.
Chill until firm.
Top with coconut.
