Cherries are a wonderful ingredient that let you work out a piece of art every time. This cherry-cheese turnovers is a creation that is done with a lot of attention to detail. Worth every bit of the effort.
|Grated cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dark sweet canned cherries||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Blend cheese with butter, flour and salt; roll out dough.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Place 1 tablespoon cherries in center of each square; fold over corners to seal.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned.
