Orange Strawberries Romanoff
|Oranges/2 small oranges||1 Large|
|Lump sugar||40 Gram|
|Curacao/Grand marnier||3 Tablespoon|
|Whipped cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Hull the strawberries and put into a deep bowl.
Wash the oranges and rub some of the sugar lumps over the skin to extract the yellow zest.
Place all the sugar lumps in a small bowl, add the squeezed orange juice and hasten the dissolving process by crushing the sugar with a wooden spoon.
Add the liqueur.
Pour this syrup over the strawberries, cover and leave in a cool place for at least an hour.
Serve in coupe glasses with a swirl of whipped cream on top.
