Fruit Bowl

Ingredients
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pineapples 6 Pound (Two 3 Pound Pieces)
  Seedless green grapes 2 Pound
  Apricots 2 Pound
Directions

Mix water and sugar; boil 5 minutes.
Skim surface, if necessary.
Keep hot but not boiling.
Remove crowns from pineapples.
Peel and slice 1/2 inch thick.
Remove eyes and core from each slice.
Cut pineapple into chunks, reserving juice.
Wash and drain grapes.
Remove stems.
Wash and drain apricots; halve and pit.
Toss apricots with reserved pineapple juice.
Simmer pineapple chunks in hot syrup till tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
Add apricots to syrup with grapes.
Simmer fruit till heated through, about 5 minutes.
Pack hot fruit into hot, clean jars; leave 1-inch headspace.
Cover with boiling syrup; leave 1/2-inch headspace.
Adjust lids.
Process in boiling water bath 20 minutes for pints or 25 minutes for quarts.
(Start timing when water returns to boiling.)
