Hot Mustard Fruits

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Firmly packed light brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Prepared spicy brown mustard 3 Tablespoon
  Canned peaches 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained
  Drained canned apricot halves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned pineapple slices 1 Cup (16 tbs), cut in half
Directions

Preheat oven to 325° F.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, add sugar and mustard, and heat and stir about 5 minutes until sugar dissolves.
Place fruits in an ungreased shallow 1-quart casserole and pour in mustard mixture.
Bake, uncovered, 1/2 hour, stirring and basting fruits once or twice.
Serve as a vegetable substitute.
