Cinnamon Apple Rings
|Red cinnamon candies||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In skillet combine cinnamon candies, sugar, and 2 cups water.
Stir over medium heat till sugar and candies are dissolved.
Core apples; cut crosswise in 1/2-inch rings.
Add rings to syrup.
Simmer gently till transparent but not soft.
Cool rings in syrup.
