Coupe Madeleine

  Honeydew melon 2 Cup (32 tbs), diced
  Confectioners sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Fresh lime juice 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Pint
  Red currant jelly 1 Cup (16 tbs), melted over hot water
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon

This is a dessert that cannot be made ahead of time, except for preparing the melon.
Just before serving, combine the melon, sugar, salt, and lime juice.
Put a small helping in sherbet glasses.
Cover the melon with a scoop of ice cream and pour over all the melted jelly which has been mixed with the lemon juice.
