1. In small bowl combine instant soft-drink mix with sugar; stir in milk until mix is dissolved.
2. Pour evaporated milk into large bowl. Place both bowls in freezer until mixtures have crystals 1 inch in from sides of bowls.
3. Now whip evaporated milk until stiff; into it gradually fold soft-drink mixture; freeze in bowl.
At dessert time:
Serve, spooned into sherbet glasses, to be enjoyed like ice cream.
