Saraswat Phanasache Muluk Or Sweet Jackfruit Balls
|Coconut||1⁄2 , grated|
|Cashewnuts||150 Gram, broken|
|Cardamom powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Ghee/Coconut oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (for deep frying)|
Soak the rice overnight. Drain and wash it the next morning. Grind it along with the jackfruit and half the grated coconut and the jaggery. Knead the mixture like dough. Add the broken cashew pieces to it. Knead again and make small flat rounds.
Heat a karahi half filled with coconut oil. When hot, fry the rounds in batches till golden-red-brown in colour.
Serve hot with tea.
