Strawberry Whip

Ingredients
  Strawberries 1 Pound (1/2 kg.)
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Pint (900 ml)
  Ice cream 8 Ounce (225 g)
  Sugar 2 Ounce (50 g)
  Vanilla essence 1⁄2 Teaspoon (2.5 ml)
  Ice cubes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Double cream 3 Fluid Ounce, whipped (75 ml)
  Whole strawberries/To garnish 4
Directions

Rub the strawberries through a strainer into a bowl.
Beat in the milk, ice-cream, sugar and vanilla essence.
Alternatively mix to a puree in an electric blender.
Put some ice cubes into each of four tall glasses.
Pour over the pureed mixture and top with a generous swirl of cream.
Put one strawberry on the top of each glass.
